This is my senior capstone project. Choosing what topic I wanted to research and eventually design for was an easy decision for me. I wanted to learn more about the history of Utah's National Parks because I have spent a lot of time visiting them. I knew that I wanted to create something within print design, and the original avenue was books for each of them. As I further researched and narrowed down who I wanted the audience to be for this project, I changed the deliverable from books to poster-zines. I wanted anyone to be able to pick it up, read it, learn something new, and be able keep the zine to display as a poster afterward. To make the project more robust I also created a high-fidelity prototype of an app that includes a history timeline of each park.
